The Associated Student Body is built into the schedule as a Leadership class offered to 7th and 8th grade students. Going into 7th grade, students can apply to be part of the ASB Leadership Team. This group is responsible for planning and hosting school events such as WEB 6th Grade Orientation, Parent Nights, Fundraising Events, and School Dances.

Girls Inc.:

Girls Inc. of the Central Coast offers programs at our campus that are primarily facilitated by teens, in keeping with their commitment that participating girls and young women are active partners in program design and service delivery. Teen graduates from Girls Inc. are confident, strong, and passionate about working in their communities as role models for younger girls – demonstrating a model for leadership that not only provides these young women with practical skills and experience, but also allows them to reach a broad spectrum of girls. The group meets after school and focuses on assertive communication, health choices, and valuing one another.

Saturday Academy:

Students enjoy spending time with peers and staff during our Saturday Academy. This year, students can improve their attendance by making up for missed school days, but most important, they get to participate in additional academic support, structured physical activity, and project-based learning with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, and math. While special invites for students with absences go out prior to each Saturday session, any Seaside Middle School student is welcome to attend each session. Students arrive at 8:15am, and students are dismissed at 12:00pm.
