Dear Seaside Middle School families,
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! I am honored to serve this learning community and support your return for an amazing restart. I look forward to partnering with each of you to ensure that all of our students are supported to grow as learners and leaders.
As we begin this exciting chapter together, I want to share my core values as an educator so that you know how I am working to serve your children, your family, and our community:
- Every student at Seaside Middle School deserves the best education possible; academic and social/emotional/behavioral growth happens when we communicate high expectations and proactively plan intentional supports to hold students accountable.
- Adult and systems learning are at the core of school improvement; professional development is most effective when it is reflective, contextualized, and ongoing.
- The trust of all stakeholders is earned and maintained through collaboration, coherence, and transparency; this is the foundation of respectful, productive relationships that promote student success.
- When decision-making is collaborative, data-informed, and equity-driven, we reflect and grow to do what is best for students.
At Seaside Middle School our mantra is, “Together, we rise!” It is essential that we work together and lift one another up in service of our children.
